A dream come true. This is how the students of the Las Lilas de La Florida school describe the fact of having a swimming subject.
This instance was achieved after an agreement between the educational campus of the Municipal Corporation of La Florida (Comudef) and the Recreate club of the commune.
“We are very proud to be able to deliver this service to all the students of Las Lilas school”commented the general secretary of the Municipal Corporation of Florida, Janett Fernández.
Therefore, the authorities of the establishment comment that the boys and girls are very motivated through this opportunity that represents a healthy life and an alternative to learning from the hand of sport.
“The children wait all week, all year they are asking about the pool. They love. What better than being encouraged with water”, said the professor of physical education and health, Cristóbal Ortega.
Immediately afterwards, the director of the Las Lilas school, Pamela Vengas, pointed out that “I am fascinated. Seeing the happy faces of the boys when they arrive and they don’t want to get out of the pool, it’s wonderful”.
“My dream was always to know how to swim. And being able to swim in a sea or in a deeper pool. My dream is being completed. With my classmates it becomes a lot of fun”, explained the fourth grade student of this campus, Mateo Churrain.
