The lowest minimum temperature was recorded at the Colón meteorological station, in the province of Matanzas with 6.1 degrees Celsius. In addition, in Ciego de Ávila (6.2), Aguada de Pasajero (6.3) and Indio Hatuey (6.8) less than 7 degrees were also registered.

Meteorologist Elier Pila Fariñas confirmed on Twitter the drop in temperatures from Artemisa to Ciego de Ávila until 7:00 AM this Sunday, adding that they could have decreased more after that time.
The specialist explained that “the little cloudiness towards those regions favored the marked decrease”, while “limiting that in provinces such as Pinar del Río, Havana and the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud, they were so low.”
