Furthermore, says the agency, strong winds and storms are expected for the São Paulo territory until next Sunday (4).

The most significant drop in temperature should occur in the eastern, southern and coastal regions of the state, while in the interior of São Paulo the changes will be more discreet. In Registro, for example, the maximum temperature is expected to rise from 37o C on Saturday to 24o C on Sunday. In Santos, the maximum predicted for Saturday is 32o C, while on Sunday a maximum of 23o C is expected.

The month of January should be one of intense rain for the state of São Paulo, estimates the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet). According to the agency, the expectation is that practically the entire territory of São Paulo will face a volume of rain above the historical average for the month.
