The SMN indicates that there is a possibility of sleet falling in the mountains of Querétaro, Hidalgo, the State of Mexico, Mexico City, Tlaxcala, Puebla and Veracruz.

Climate in the Valley of Mexico

For the afternoon of this December 25, there will be cloudy skies with rain and intervals of showers in Mexico City and the State of Mexico, “which could be accompanied by electric shocks,” reported the National Meteorological Service.

In the country’s capital, a minimum temperature of 5 to 7°C and a maximum of 16 to 18°C ​​is forecast. While in Toluca a minimum temperature of -1 to 1°C and a maximum of 13 to 15°C is expected.

Due to the drop in temperatures expected for the night of December 25 and the early hours of Monday the 26th, Mexico City authorities activated alerts for eight mayors’ offices.
