The hearing to hear about the measure of coercion in the Pandora case was postponed to next Monday, November 25, following a request from the defense who claimed they needed more time to analyze the extensive file presented by the Public Ministry.
The investigation dismantles an alleged criminal network headed by Colonel Narciso Antonio Féliz Romero, linked to the diversion of ammunition from official warehouses.
The operation, called the Pandora case, began in October following a joint request from the Ministry of the Interior and Police and the General Directorate of the National Police.
More than 200 agents and 40 prosecutors participated in a series of simultaneous raids carried out in the National District, Santiago and Pedernales.

Among those arrested are Colonel Féliz Romero, Captain Nelson Valdez and auditor Víctor Manuel Santos. The latter accused of altering reports to cover up illegal operations.
In addition, several subordinates and a civilian who would have served as an operational liaison are detained.
The Public Ministry requested preventive detention for the 10 involved and that the case be declared complex, given the size of the alleged network.
According to authorities, this structure would have systematically stolen ammunition, representing a threat to public safety.
The next hearing will define the precautionary measures against the accused. While the Public Ministry claims to have compelling evidence that links the accused to the criminal scheme.
