Santo Domingo.- The coercive measure against the only person involved in the death of a married couple in the La Guáyiga municipal district, in the Pedro Brand municipality, was forwarded to Thursday.
Judge Cecilia Toribio, of the Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services of Santo Domingo Oeste, postponed the measure of coercion, which was scheduled for this Tuesday against the defendant José Alfredo Ventura Tupete, accused by the Public Ministry of hiding evidence.
This subject owns a hotel in Boca Chica, in Santo Domingo Este, where the young Luis Miguel Jáquez Rodríguez was taken and executed, who was kidnapped along with his wife, Elizabeth Almarante Pacheco, who was also murdered, but in another place.

The fugitives Dylan Alberto Ortiz, Leonardo Méndez Mojica, Eddy Manuel Álvarez Ramírez (Moreno and/or Niño), José Miguel Álvarez Ramírez (Bebe) are also linked to the case.
The institution recalled that on January 24 of this year, in the early hours of the morning, the spouses Luis Miguel Jáquez Rodríguez and Elizabeth Almarante Pacheco disappeared from El Progreso street, in the La Guáyiga sector, located at Km 22 of the Duarte Highway. , Pedro Brand municipality, for which the members of the Disappeared Unit of the National Police and directed by the Public Ministry began the investigations.
After the events, the authorities followed up on a Hyundai vehicle, model Tucson (2020), gray jeep, chassis KMHJ2813BLU147622, license plate G496783, which had been used to transport the married couple, for which it was determined that this was rented to Mr. Alfredo Antonio Nova Pérez.
The investigations conducted by the Public Ministry establish that the fugitive Leonardo Méndez Mojica had rented the aforementioned vehicle from January 21 to 27 of this year, and that when it was voluntarily turned over to the authorities by Mr. Alfredo Antonio Nova Pérez , responsible for the vehicle, several inspections were carried out that revealed the place where the lifeless bodies of the married couple were found.
The body of the now deceased Miguel Jaquéz Rodríguez was found completely tied up with transparent sticky tape and the body of Mrs. Elizabeth Almarante Pacheco was likewise tied up with the same type of sticky tape and with two black tie wraps.
