Santo Domingo.- The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) placed three provinces on green alert, because some rains are expected, as a result of a trough, in the company of cloudy patches.
The provinces on alert are: Santiago, La Vega and Santiago Rodríguez.
For its part, precipitation is expected to decrease in the southeastern provinces, with a sky of scattered clouds persisting.
The COE recommended that people refrain from crossing rivers, streams and ravines that have high volumes of water in the locations under alert.
