COE places 11 provinces and the National District on yellow alert for downpours and thunderstorms

Santo Domingo.– The Emergency Operations Center (COE) increased this Thursday to 11 Provinces and the National District in Yellow Alertwhile keeping Six in greenbefore the moderate to strong downpours, thunderstorms and wind bursts caused by the incidence of an active tropical wave combined with a height vagua.

The provinces in yellow alert are: Santo Domingo, María Trinidad Sánchez, San Pedro de Macorís, La Altagracia, El Seibo, Azua, National District, La Romana, Samaná, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata and San José de Ocoa.

Meanwhile, in Green alert remain: Barahona, Peravia, Pedernales, San Juan, Sánchez Ramírez and San Cristóbal.
