HOLY SUNDAY.– The Emergency Operations Center (COE) expanded the provinces on green alert to six, due to a tropical wave which will be generating heavy downpours during the afternoon and early evening.
The provinces on alert are Santo Domingo, National District, San Pedro de Macorís, San Cristóbal, Monte Plata and San José de Ocoa.
In this sense, people are recommended to refrain from crossing rivers, streams and ravines that have high volumes of water in the provinces under alert.
