COE discontinues alert level in 5 provinces

Preventive detention ordered for man who murdered his son and injured his mother in Sosúa

Santo Domingo.- The Emergency Operations Center (COE) discontinuedon Tuesday afternoon, the alert that was in effect in five provincesbecause an improvement in weather conditions is forecast for the next few hours.

The COE reported that said level in the Duarte, Puerto Plata, Espaillat, María Trinidad Sánchez and Hermanas Mirabal provinces.

On his side, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet), reported that this Wednesday moderate rain showers will continue to be recorded over towns in Juan Sánchez Ramírez, Duarte, María Trinidad Sánchez, Sisters Mirabal and Espaillat.

In addition, Puerto Plata Monseñor Nouel, La Altagracia, La Romana, San Pedro, Monte Plata and The Great Santo Domingo.

Likewise, the waves will continue to be abnormal in the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.
