Santo Domingo.- The president of the National Council of Evangelical Unity (CODUE), Feliciano Lacencalled on the Dominican population to act with prudence and moderation during the celebration of Christmas Eve and the holiday of Christmas.
He said that the time of so much ttranscendence must be taken advantage of to enjoy it in an atmosphere of brotherhood and community with relativesfriends and neighbors, “avoiding excesses that can cause painful situations such as accidents of transit and other facts that mourn the family Dominican.
«It is customary to see how dozens of people they lose their lives in different violent situations, due to excesses and desenfreno that takes hold of many in the christmas festivities. That is why from Cudue we call on sanity and prudence,” he said.

Feliciano Lacen appealed to the awareness and the responsibility of drivers who travel through Greater Santo Domingo or to the interior of the country not to drink drinks alcoholicwhile driving.
“A simple responsible attitude can save lives,” he pointed out.
The evangelical pastor also said that in the midst of the hustle and bustle that characterizes Christmas, the occasion is conducive to reflect about the pilgrimage of Jesus and each of its teachings, having as its main axis the love of God and neighbor.
«It is time to share not only a food plate or a gift, but also love, tolerance and understanding of others, as Jesus expects us to do,” he concluded.
