The starter from Cocles worked 7 solid scoreless innings and only gave up 4 isolated hits, struck out 6 and walked 2. While Efraín Cubilla had a sensational relay where in the eighth with the bases loaded he avoided the tie of Panama Oeste, in the end he pitched 2 innings, bowled one and struck out one, crediting himself with the save.
The only run of the game was in the first inning when Roderick Lezcano with a sacrifice fly brought Luis Escudero home.
