Cocaine laboratory dismantled in a municipality near Bogotá

In the last hours, the Attorney General’s Office found a new cocaine laboratory in a wooded area of ​​the municipality of Silvania (Cundinamarca), more precisely in the village of Agua Bonita.

According to information from the entity, this laboratory induced the production of approximately one ton of narcotic drugs per month and this drug transported to the El Dorado airport, to be sent by air, or in turn by land to Venezuela.

“This drug trafficking complex would belong to different structures thatwho sent drug shipments through the main air terminal in Bogotá with international destinations”mentioned María Helena Monsalve, who is the director against microtrafficking and drug trafficking of the Prosecutor’s Office, who, in turn, He pointed out that the destination of the narcotics was the neighboring country.

Inside the place, more than 570 kilos of solid chemical substances, machinery, provisions for the people in charge of the place, iLiquid supplies for the procedure of cocaine and other substances.

Likewise, the Prosecutor’s Office was able to obtain from a judge the respective document so that this place was raided, and subsequently the controlled destruction of the elements found was carried out. However, the entity also investigates nearby areas to determine if this was the only laboratory.

According to Monsalve, these places are structured near the country’s capital, because they favor illegality within the city and also distribution, it can become easier.
