A portion of cocaine base paste was seized at the 26 de Julio Detention Center for Defendants located in San Juan de los Morros (Guárico), according to a report.
The substance was discovered by agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) once they observed a subject throwing an object from a motorcycle into the aforementioned prison.
The package fell on a roof near checkpoint number 7, says the report from Detachment 341 of the GNB. The soldiers collected the packaging, which weighed 240 grams.
A similar procedure was carried out by the military in that same Guariqueña prison, where officials located a group of creepy people who had previously launched a motorized vehicle from the street. The packaging was placed in a cardboard container that is normally used to sell juices. The drug weighed 285 grams, according to the GNB minutes.
Another anti-drug procedure was carried out at the Western Penitentiary Center located in Santa Ana del Táchira, where the military seized three panels of marijuana (673 grams) and three of cocaine (221 grams).
These panels had been thrown from the outside between sentry boxes 1 and 2, with the intention of reaching the detention areas of those deprived of liberty, according to the investigation carried out by Detachment 211 of the GNB.
In the Las Trojas sector, La Guajira municipality (Zulia), military personnel seized 10 panels of marijuana that weighed 4 kilos 195 grams, according to a report from Detachment 112 of the GNB.
The cargo was transported on a motorcycle by two individuals who threw the panelas when they heard the military agents’ voice stop.
The Public Ministry was notified of the procedures.
