He Ministry of the Interior and Police, through the Program Control of Alcoholic Beverages (COBA), arranged the temporary closure of the fun center Punto Frío Life Bar, located in the municipal district of Veragua, Gaspar Hernández, Espaillat province, after a violent incident occurred in its facilities on December 25 brawl that left several people wounds.
The confrontation, starring men and womenincluded the use of bottles and other objects as weapons, spreading outside the establishment and generating chaos in the streets of the community.
The events were recorded in videos that quickly went viral on social networks, showing the magnitude of the altercation.

The closure of the business was formalized by the minutes No. 46169, which orders the owner of the premises, identified as Yoan Manuel, who must appear in January before the headquarters of the COBA to clarify the facts and assume possible responsibilities.
According to the authorities, this measure seeks to guarantee the security citizen and prevent the repetition of incidents similar.
“The decision to temporarily close this establishment is a direct response to the events that occurred and a clear warning to other entertainment centers that do not comply with the regulations established,” said the Ministry of the Interior and Police in an official statement.
