
This Sunday, the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, toured the different voting centers in Caracas, including Galipán, to supervise the development of the fourth popular consultation.
Amoroso indicated that for this electoral process, the CNE arranged 8,630 voting centers nationwide, 9,663 polling stations installed, for 36,774 projects under consideration and coverage in 5,336 communal circuits.
In a press release from the CNE, it is indicated that the president of the electoral body highlighted that in this process young people from 15 years of age can exercise their right to vote, at the same time that he highlighted the great participation that this sector of the population has had.
“Venezuela has more acts of deepening democracy every day, thanks to the National Executive, the head of State and Government, who is giving the opportunity to all the people of Venezuela to express themselves,” said Amoroso.
The president of the CNE showed his satisfaction with the success of the mobilization in the city of Caracas, where the communities came out en masse to choose their projects.
“We are deeply proud that the National Electoral Council, together with the Ministry of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture and the National Executive, is carrying out this process as expected by all the Venezuelan people,” he said.
Amoroso also sent a message of confidence in the country’s direction: “Venezuela is not stopped by absolutely anyone, it continues to progress, it continues with its economic rhythm and above all things with the deepening of the democracy that we Venezuelans have always dreamed of.”
