The TSJ received from the hands of the president of the CNE, Elvis Amoroso, the minutes of the scrutiny of the presidential elections of July 28
The president of the National Electoral Council, Elvis Amoroso, submitted this Monday, August 5, to the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) the minutes of the presidential elections that took place on July 28.
Amoroso addressed the TSJ with a brief message in which he stated that “everything requested by the Supreme Court of the Republic is recorded,” without offering further details.
Last Friday, August 2, the Electoral Chamber of the TSJ requested from the CNE the minutes of the scrutiny and final total of the election of July 28, as part of an investigation to “certify” the official result of these elections.

The National Electoral Council announced the victory of Nicolás Maduro over presidential candidate Edmundo González Urrutia.
The TSJ asked the electoral authority to provide “all the elements” that confirm the “cyber attack reported against the computer system,” which, according to the CNE, represented an impediment to the transmission of the election results.
The candidates are summoned
The president of the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice, magistrate Caryslia Rodríguez, summoned all candidates and representatives of political parties, including Edmundo González, to appear on Wednesday, August 7, together with the organizations UNT, MPV and MUD.
He warned that the absence of those mentioned “will lead to consequences provided for in the current legislation.”
