The vice president of the CNE, Carlos Quintero, said that 89% of the schedule for municipal elections has been completed and until 3:00 pm this Friday, 99.02% of the tables had already been installed
The National Electoral Council (CNE) received international veterans for municipal elections and said that 88% of the schedule for these elections has been fulfilled, scheduled for July 27.
From the headquarters of the agency, to the center of Caracas, the president of the CNE, Elvis Amoroso, said that 1,400 national and international veterans are deployed throughout the country, and some of them have already visited some voting centers and participated in the audits before Sunday.
He reiterated that in this election 335 mayors or mayors will be elected, in addition to 2,471 councilors, while reiterating that those over 15 will be able to participate in the National Youth Consultation, which was also scheduled for July 27.
For his part, the vice president of the CNE, Carlos Quintero, told the Venezuelan television channel that 89% of the schedule for these elections and until 3:00 pm had already been installed and 99.02% of the tables had already been installed.

“Today we carry out a technical protocol with all the municipal boards (…) so that once the National Board announce the results to the country, these municipal boards carry out the process of awarding and proclamation of all the positions,” he said.
Quintero indicated that five audits are pending, two of them will be held tomorrow Saturday, and others after the election “to close the complete cycle of electoral guarantees.” In addition, he stressed that 1,234 collection centers and 12% contingency voting machines were arranged to resolve the incidents that occur on municipalities.
There will also be 1,024 contingency transmission centers “to have the transmission of the results as quickly as possible.”
