The president of the National Electoral Council, Elvis Amoroso, congratulated the democratic spirit of the Venezuelan people who expressed themselves through voting
The National Electoral Council (CNE) proclaimed Nicolás Maduro on Monday, July 29, as the re-elected President of the Republic for the period 2025-2031.
The event took place at the headquarters of the National Electoral Council in Caracas, where the president of the Electoral Body, Elvis Amoroso, stressed that Maduro was elected with the majority of the votes counted.
Amoroso also praised the democratic spirit of the Venezuelan people, who expressed themselves through their vote.
