The vice president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Carlos Quintero, said that until noon this Sunday, July 27, 0.86% of failures in the voting machines deployed for these municipal elections have been recorded.
From Caracas, after exercising his right to vote, Quintero said that 100% of the voting tables are installed to elect 335 mayors or mayors and 2,471 councilors throughout the country.
“Without a doubt this is the reflection of democracy itself, direct and leading that our people in Venezuela lives,” said the Vice President of the CNE, who invited to participate in the popular consultation for youth projects, promoted by the administration of Nicolás Maduro and that is carried out alongside the municipal ones.
While in the municipal elections only Venezuelans over 18 and duly registered in the Electoral Registry participate, the voting for the popular consultation were enabled for all those over 15 years. In some centers, according to a tour made by SuchWhichvoters were required to participate in said consultation.

Rector Quintero also pointed out that all the institutions involved (Republic Plan, Civil Protection, Corpoelec, Cantv) in these elections have fulfilled their work.
