CNE extends closing of polling stations until 8 pm

The vice president of the National Electoral Council, Carlos Quintero, announced that given the participation in the process of electing judges and justices of the peace, the process will be extended for two hours.

“The participation of the voters demonstrates the democratic spirit of the Venezuelans, understanding that the only instrument to advance in peace is the vote and that is a choice that the Venezuelan people give us every day,” said Quintero.

Next, the vice president of the National Electoral Council called on Venezuelans to participate in the process of choosing justices of the peace throughout the country. “They still have two hours for the people to vote and express their will,” he said.
