The Electoral Power pointed out that the United States, which has an obsolete electoral system, incapable of providing certainty in its results, lacks the moral authority to evaluate and give opinions on electoral issues.
The National Electoral Council took a position on Friday following the most recent aggression by the United States Government against Venezuela.
In a statement, the Venezuelan Electoral Authority condemns the targeting and intimidation of Venezuelan public servants.
He says that none of the ill-intentioned opinions of organizations financed by Washington “have been able to tarnish the impeccable reputation built over the years by the National Electoral Council of Venezuela.”
He also said that the amounts of money he has received from the Government of the United States of America to feed reports against Venezuela have only served to pay for campaigns on social networks.
