CNE approved the 2023 electoral process

Elections are scheduled to take place on February 5, 2023.

The National Electoral Council (CNE) approved this Saturday, February 5, 2022, the beginning of the electoral period for the sectional elections (mayors and prefects) and the members of the Citizen Participation Council (Cpccs).

With the start of the process will be executed technical, logistical and operational activities to hold the elections. Voting is planned to be on February 5, 2023, however, the calendar has not yet been approved, so there could be changes.
