The president of Dominican Medical College (CMD), Senén Caba, thundered this Tuesday against the government of Luis Abinader in front of the hospital Father Billini in demand that said health center not be handed over to volunteering.
«This hospital does not work without doctors, without nurses, without laboratory technicians. And obviously it won’t work while the government stubbornly persists in its intentions to privatize it with a volunteerism that wants to usurp a State good, a people’s good»Cab warned.
The president of the doctors’ union also called the committee that heads the health center administratively “corrupt.” He further indicated that the Father Billini will remain public and open.
“The Medical College has established some non-negotiable point. Let the Government know it well,” said Caba.
The words of the president of doctors in the country spoke at the lighting of candles in front of said health center along with dozens of doctors.

It is recalled that the CMD called a march that will end at the National Palace to demand some claims.
Later, the Vice President of the Republic, Rachel Penastated that the Dominican government is in a position to dialogue with the Dominican Medical College (CMD) prior to the peaceful protest that the union has scheduled for this Wednesday with a march that will reach the National Palace.
“Every time they need to meet, they meet with President Luis Abinader, also with the minister, with the director of the National Health Service and with all of us who have to do with the health sector in one way or another. The best relationships can not be. We will continue the dialogue»explained the official.
When approached by journalists at the National Palace, the also coordinator of the Health Cabinet also recognized the demands and needs that this sector has, and indicated that “as far as possible” they will continue to offer solutions.
