Santiago. After more than four months of being closed due to the works for the construction of the monorail, several sections of Avenida 27 de Febrero were opened to facilitate vehicular traffic.
The most critical points, in front of the Federico Álvarez Palace of Justice and the Pueblo Nuevo sector, were enabled since the weekend.
The contractor company is working on eight stations that are erected simultaneously, in addition to the start of construction of the first section of the viaduct through which the first monorail built in Santiago will travel. The work is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
They are also working quickly to open again the collapsed section of Las Carreras avenue, affected by a landslide. The Government is also working on several sections for the Cable Car.
