Before delivering the certificate, the presiding judge of the Electoral Court, Mónica Soto, recapitulated the electoral process and the qualification stage of the election, highlighting that although there were challenges, the election was legal and complied with the norm.
“Nothing overshadows the fact that Mexico has its first female president by citizen vote,” she said.
Among the secretaries of the current administration were the Secretary of the Interior, Luisa María Alcalde, as well as the next Secretary of Tourism, Josefina Rodríguez, and the Secretary of Energy, Luz Elena González, in addition to Marcelo Ebrard of the Economy, who also aspired to the presidency of Mexico.

Members of the cabinet and the 11 justices of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) attended the presentation of the certificate; upon entering the premises, the president-elect greeted the president of the Court, Norma Piña.
Also present were David Kershenobich, the next head of the Ministry of Health, and the leader of the Morena senators, Ricardo Monreal.
In addition to politicians and officials, Claudia Sheinbaum was accompanied by her husband José María Tariba and her mother.
