Claudia López tested positive for covid

Through their social networks, The mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López, reported this Monday that she was diagnosed as positive for covid for the second time. The first time was on May 14, 2021.

“I have tested positive for Covid. Thanks to my full vaccination schedule, I have mild symptoms and will continue to work from home. Please get vaccinated! All vaccines work, avoid fatal risks and save lives! ”, López wrote along with a video.

He recalled that the Ministry of Health reported on the presence in Colombia of the omicron variant, one more reason to be alert and maintain care.

(Omicron variant is already in Colombia: the first cases are identified).

He also asked citizens to avoid the use of gunpowder this season.
