Classic that had everything! Libertad recovers with victory against Olimpia

A night of successive emotions was lived in Tuyucuá in a new edition of the classic black and white.

Libertad, champion of the Apertura, was seeking to recover from the surprise loss in the debut against Ameliano and the way for this was opened by Iván Piris, who scored his first goal in Paraguayan soccer to give Gumarelo 1-0 at 23 minutes.

But there was more. In the first minute of addition (90 + 1 ‘), Hernesto Caballero defined for what would be the fifth goal of the Apertura champion, but the VAR intervened again to determine the sanction of another penalty for Olimpia by the hand of Iván Piris in the play previous. The side would see the second yellow card and, therefore, Gumarelo was left with 10 men.

Guillermo Paiva was in charge of executing the penalty and scored, leaving the final score at 4-2 in La Huerta.
