“Next year, from Tasqueña to the city center, we are going to build a floor above the Metro, a pedestrian walkway floor for the population and the use of bicycles,” he announced at the Metropolitan Theater, in his first event as Head of Government after taking protest in the local Congress.
When presenting his commitments to the inhabitants of Mexico City, he announced that as of November 6, the delivery of the social programs he promised during the campaign will begin, one per week.
These include the public transportation scholarship for university students, the “From the Cradle” program, which consists of financial support for boys and girls from 0 to 3 years old, as well as universal income for men from 60 to 64 years old, as a complement to the extension of the Pension for Seniors that President Claudia Sheinbaum will initiate, aimed at women in this age range at the federal level.

Later, he led a caravan from Calle 5 de Mayo and Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas to the capital’s Zócalo, to symbolically receive the Government of Mexico City.
