During a military operation carried out in the La Mula sector, Juan José Rondón municipality (Las Mercedes del Llano), Guárico, an unauthorized landing strip was destroyed, according to military sources.
The operation was carried out by troops attached to the Rural Command Detachment 34-3 of the Bolivarian National Guard.
The illegal runway detected measured 3,000 meters long by 15 meters wide. In it, the remains of two white aircraft were located, among which the initials N20FM can be seen.
The military authorities presume that these devices were used to support criminal groups dedicated to illicit drug trafficking.
