A clandestine brothel that operated at the intersection of the Omar Yali and Pichis neighborhoods was intervened by the Provincial Municipality of Huancayo (MPH) in a joint operation with the National Police of Peru. The premises operated without a license or municipal authorization.

During the intervention, more than 10 mattresses were seized in unsanitary conditions, some with blood stains, in addition to cockroach infestation, nauseating odors and used condoms, turning the premises into a source of infection.
Likewise, unsafe environments and internal divisions were detected where parishioners were served. Neighbors reported that some windows were used to commit robberies in the area. Civil Defense determined that the property is totally unsafe and does not have an ITSE certificate, so its definitive closure was ordered. Access will be closed to prevent it from operating again.
