Solidarity groups, Cubans residing in other countries and the Puentes de Amor project, in the United States, are leading the call for these initiatives.
According to the portal of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), the call extends to several cities in the northern country.
In Wilmington, Los Angeles, the Hands off Cuba committee plans a tour and film screening for Saturday, while in Miami a caravan will depart from City Hall on Sunday through various streets.
Meanwhile, in San Francisco, Washington, New York, Chicago, Albuquerque and Minnesota, voices of solidarity will be added for Sunday.
From the cities of Ottawa and Vancouver, in Canada, caravans of cars and bicycles are planned for that day, in which from countries such as Venezuela, Paraguay, Mexico, Salvador and Panama other initiatives of solidarity groups are expected.
European activists from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Finland and Germany also participated in the actions of the weekend that close the day We Have Memory, convened by the ICAP against terrorism and the blockade.
The initiative that has been underway since September brought together the international movement of solidarity with Cuba in a common claim against the siege of the island.
