The civil-military Union mobilizes from different points of the capital city to commemorate the 194th anniversary of the passage to immortality of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, an activity in which the Combatant Corps of the Bolivarian Militia will also be sworn in and the activation of the Special Militia Unit of the Honor Guard.
From the vicinity of La Candelaria Square, a Caracas resident noted that “the people remain active with history and always trust in God.” On the other hand, the union leader, Franklin Rondón, stated that “here we are once again the representation of a majority that supports the Revolution, and we demonstrate once again the willingness of the people to march and defend the country.”
«Today we are demonstrating willingness, will, affection and libertarian commitment, today we can see how those ideals of Bolívar are more alive than ever. Today we continue in the fight against imperialism that seeks to subjugate the freedom of the people,” he highlighted.
For his part, Rafael Prieto assured that the revolutionary people will continue in the streets in battle and victory because Venezuela belongs to everyone. “Our support for President Nicolás Maduro is unwavering,” he stated. Meanwhile, Maritza Pérez emphasized that the People are the ones who decide and decided to be free and sovereign, they will not be anyone’s colony again. “We Venezuelans will not allow the United States to continue interfering in our affairs,” he stated.
It should be remembered that this mobilization has seven concentration points: Plaza Candelaria, Urdaneta Avenue at the height of the Armed Forces elevated, corner of Veroes, Boulevard del Panteón and that will culminate in the Plaza del Panteón Nacional.
