The National Construction Cost Index – M (INCC-M), calculated by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), registered inflation of 0.87% in April this year. As a result, the INCC-M accumulates inflation rates of 2.74% in the year and 11.54% in 12 months, according to data released today (26).

The hike in the rate from March to April was driven by materials and equipment, whose inflation rate went from 0.29% to 1.35% in the period.

On the other hand, services and labor had a drop in the rate. Services went from 0.79% to 0.73%, while labor fell from 1.12% to 0.46%.
