The National Civil Construction Index (Sinapi) registered inflation of 1.65% in June. It is the second highest rate of the year, behind only the 2.17% in May. The indicator accumulates 7.52% in the first half and 14.53% in 12 months.
According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), with the increase, the national cost of construction, per square meter, is R$ 1,628.25 in June.
The square meter of labor increased 2.35% in the month and started to cost R$ 653.78. Construction materials, on the other hand, increased by 1.19% and started to cost R$ 974.47 per square meter.
