For this afternoon’s march, the civic leadership plans two exits, one from the Eustaquio “Moto” Méndez roundabout and the other from the Church of La Loma de San Juan to culminate in the Plaza Luis de Fuentes y Vargas.

“We hope to have a good amount of the population of Tarija which has become aware of the demand by the census,” said Márquez.

On the other hand, on the fifth day of the indefinite strike more than 20 points of street blockades were reported and avenues in the city of Tarija that hindered the transit of buses, truffis and private vehicles.

The Departmental Federation of Motor Transport, one of the members of the Committee for Interests, did not join the protest measure and opted for his associates to continue with public service.
