San Francisco de Macorís, Duarte. – The president Luis Abinader led the commemorative parade 213th anniversary of the birth of Juan Pablo Duartean act that marks the beginning of the Homeland Month and reaffirms the commitment of the Dominican State to the values of freedom, sovereignty and love of the nation that the Father of the Nation bequeathed.
In the central words of the event, the president of the Permanent Commission of National Ephemerides (CPEP), Juan Pablo Uribe, highlighted that Juan Pablo Duarte is the Dominican of purest gloryas defined by historian Emiliano Tejera, and added that his example should be followed and imitated for his love, work and sacrifice for the country.
Uribe stated that, on the 213th anniversary of the birth of the Father of the Nation, on January 26, 1813, The occasion is propitious to value with full civic awareness the social and State leadership that President Luis Abinader represents.whose work at the head of the nation honors the Duartian spirit of honesty, rectitude, decency and dignity.
In that sense, the president of CPEP stated that this commitment is reflected in a transparent and firm management, based on the principle of having friends, but not accomplices, and on the vocation to work for and for the country.

Continue honoring Duarte’s memory
The welcoming words were given by the mayor of San Francisco de Macorís, Alex Diazwho highlighted Juan Pablo Duarte as the ideologist of the National Independence and transparency symboldespite the opposition he faced. In this context, he stated that President Luis Abinader, like the patrician, promotes a crusade for the transparency necessary for the future of the country, even when it involves sacrifices.
For her part, the provincial governor, Ana Xiomara Cortesexpressed that All Dominicans are called to honor the memory of the patrician and to assume his thought as a reference for civic ethics and social responsibility. Civic-Military and Police Parade
Once the protocol act is concluded, Colonel Pablo Belén Hernández, ERD, commander of the joint brigade of the San Francisco de Macorís 2026 Civic-Military and Police paraderequested the corresponding permission to start the parade, which was granted by the President of the Republic.

Subsequently, the fourth-year cadet of the Battles of Las Carreras Military Academy of the Army of the Dominican Republic, Alfred Luis Encarnación Hernández, read the Order of the Day issued by the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre, ERD, to honor and exalt the values and principles upheld by Patricio Juan Pablo Duarte y Díez.
The parade began with the participation of students from various educational centers in the Duarte province followed by elite corps of the Dominican Republic Army, special units of the Dominican Republic Air Force and specialized forces of the National Police, including the Lince and SWAT.
