Citizens of the capital are divided between voting or not for Sheinbaum as president in 2024

The presidential aspirations of the head of government have also divided opinion about her care in the city.

49% of people agree that, despite being interested in being a presidential candidate, Sheinbaum has not neglected Mexico City. By contrast, 46% believes that the president no longer deals with CDMX for being on the campaign trail.

The survey carried out by REFORMA indicates that the 55% of the people consulted believe that the head of government is using public resources of Mexico City to promote its image towards 2024, while the 30% think he does it with own resources.

Sheinbaum maintains a positive approval of the way he conducts his work as head of governmentwith the 58% of the people who approve and only one 36% that disapproves.

This puts him in an even better position than the president Andres Manuel Lopez Obradorwell the 53% of the people consulted said approve the way he does his job and the Four. Five% he claimed that he disapproves.

However, the 55% of the residents of the capital surveyed agreed that in Mexico City “it is necessary a change of course”, while the 41% opined that it is better keep things going”.
