Citizen Power nominations committee will publish a list of candidates this October 26

The list of candidates for the positions of Comptroller General of the Republic, Attorney General of the Republic and Ombudsman will be published this Saturday, October 26, reported deputy José Gregorio Correa, vice president of the Evaluation Commission.

According to a press release from the National Assembly, the list will be disseminated in the media and social networks. Correa indicated that they received the applications at the Bolivian Museum. The Nominations Committee will evaluate the candidates and the National Assembly will be in charge of appointing the new members of the Citizen Power.

It is worth noting that the Committee for the Evaluation of Applications to Citizen Power, chaired by Congressman Giuseppe Alessandrello and with Correa as vice president, is made up of several members, including José Óscar Villarroel García, María Gabriela Vega, Desiré Santos Amaral, Gloria Mercedes Castillo De Durán, Nicia Maldonado, Ginkellys Vanessa Gutiérrez, Nancy Ascencio, Fernando Bastidas Calderón, Carolina García Carreño, Alfonso Campos Jessurún and Timoteo Zambrano.

The evaluation process is expected to be rigorous and transparent, to ensure that those selected meet the established requirements and have the necessary experience and capacity to perform these important positions.
