Citizen Income It is a program designed by the Government of Colombia for those families that are in a critical economic situation and need extra help to generate income. It also has other lines of intervention such as Assessment of Care, Colombia Without Hunger, among others. And now in November, you have to pay for a particular date.
The key date
The Commitment Act is a fundamental part of this benefittherefore, your signature is non-negotiable. Those who receive some social benefit will have time to sign it until November 9since otherwise they will suffer the risk of being excluded from the program.
What happens if you don’t sign or miss the date?
In the case of not respecting the established limits, the beneficiary may face 3 direct consequences.
1.Loss of profit: Without the signature, your household will not be able to access the assigned monetary transfers, which means that it will not receive the financial support that is intended for the beneficiaries of the program.
2.Signature Process: If you decide to sign after the deadline, you may have to wait for future calls or program reviews, which may not guarantee your immediate reinstatement.
3.Evaluation and Review: The program has monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. If it is detected that a beneficiary is not complying with the established obligations, a review of their situation may be carried out, which could result in exclusion from the program.
