Cilia Flores and the First Lady of Iran addressed issues of interest

As part of the visit to the country this Monday, the first lady of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Jamileh-Sadat Alamolhoda, was received by the first combatant and deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Cilia Flores de Maduro, with the purpose of hold a private meeting that seeks to strengthen relations between both nations.

The meeting took place at the “Antonio José de Sucre” Yellow House in Caracas, where both representatives reviewed issues of mutual interest, while strengthening the ties of cooperation and complementarity between sister countries.

He met with intellectual and influential women from Venezuela

A cultural and political exchange meeting with influential women in various areas, led by the First Combatant of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Cilia Flores; and the First Lady of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Jamileh-Sadat Alamolhoda, as part of the official visit to Venezuela of the president of the Persian nation, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, in the context of his tour of Latin America and the Caribbean.

The meeting that took place in the Casa Amarilla, in the city of Caracas, brings together intellectual and influential women from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

In this context, the Iranian First Lady expressed her intention to promote educational initiatives in favor of the Venezuelan people.

«I want to start several projects in Venezuela with your support. I want to give scholarships to very intelligent and very dynamic women, to enhance their abilities, “she said.

For her part, the First Combatant reiterated the initiative to strengthen the ties of sisterhood between the Persian women and the Venezuelan women.

Among the women were the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, the Vice President for Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez; the mayoress of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez; the Minister for University Education, Sandra Oblitas; the Minister for Education, Yelitze Santaella, as well as women intellectuals from the Iranian embassy in Venezuela and the Latin American Cultural Exchange Center.

Upon her arrival in the country, Alamolhoda was received with the corresponding honors and developed an agenda of cultural and political exchange with influential women in different areas.

Alamolhoda was born in 1965 in Mashhad, in the province of Khorasan Razavi located in the northeast of the country. In 2001 she received her PhD in the field of educational philosophy from Tarbiat Modares University.

She was also the director of the Humanities Research Institute, as well as founding the Shahid Beheshti University Institute of Fundamental Studies in Science and Technology in 2013 and is currently its director.

This research institute aims to present models of scientific and technological policy based on the understanding and evaluation of the epistemological and social aspects of science and technology.2.

Let us remember that during the Eurasian tour that President Nicolás Maduro made in June 2022 and that took him, on his journey, to Iran, the First Lady of Iran Jamileh-Sadat Alamolhoda held meetings with the First Combatant Cilia Flores.

On that occasion, Flores congratulated the First Lady of the Persian country for “the extraordinary and fraternal meetings that we held and I appreciate all your attention and hospitality for me and for the entire Venezuelan delegation, hoping that brotherly relations continue to grow closer.”

Upon arrival in the Islamic Republic of Iran, in June 2022, a female representation welcomed the First Combatant Cilia Flores, who participated in a series of activities related to the promotion of the cultural integration of both peoples and educational experiences of the Republic Islamic of Iran.
