Cicpc seizes five kilos of illicit substances in the state of Lara

Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc), assigned to the Barquisimeto Municipal Delegation, managed to seize five kilograms of psychotropic substances in the state of Lara.

According to the official report, they indicated that as a result of the seizure of said psychotropic substances, the arrest of two people aged 20 and 32 in the El Obelisco sector was achieved, who were dedicated to the distribution of narcotics in various sectors of the Larense capital.

Likewise, Cicpc officials collected two vehicles as evidence, which were used as a means of transportation for the commission of the crime and the distribution of the merchandise. As well as three mobile devices.

It is important to mention, according to a press release, that this blow to local drug trafficking is part of the security strategies implemented by the Cicpc to reduce the rates of marketing of illicit substances in the state of Lara.
