This was reported by Commissioner General Yulian Ramos, head of the Comprehensive Crime Prevention Division of the CICPC, in the thirty-fifth edition of the program “Criminal Investigation for the People”, a space broadcast through MijpRadio, the station of the Ministry of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace.
“This administrative unit, which depends on the General Secretariat, is in charge of establishing, implementing and executing strategic plans and guidelines that allow the optimal development of processes related to comprehensive prevention, through the study, analysis and diagnosis of crimes. “, said.
Among the preventive programs developed by this Division are “Don’t Get Entangled with the Networks” (Prevention of Computer Crimes); Criminalistics goes to School (Promote criminalistic sciences); Prevention and Treatment of Substance Use; prevention of domestic violence, gender violence and bullying or bullying.
Ramos also highlighted that the Division conducts the Skills for Life workshop, a new training strategy so that the youngest can face daily challenges; among which stands out: effective communication, decision making, self-knowledge, empathy, conflict resolution, stress management, feelings and emotions, interpersonal relationships, critical and creative thinking.
Commissioner General Yulian Ramos stressed that the division is made up of a multidisciplinary team made up of psychologists, sociologists, social workers, criminologists, educational psychologists and lawyers specialized in the comprehensive promotion of a culture of peace.
