Two dangerous criminals, who were requested for multiple crimes, died after generating an armed confrontation with commissions of the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (Cicpc), made in the municipalities of San Sebastián de los Reyes and Santiago Mariño, in the Aragua state.
According to the information provided by the director of the detective body, Douglas Rico, through their Instagram social network, the events occurred when Cicpc officials, during investigation work, managed to locate and identify criminals and tried to stop them.
When they noticed the police presence, the antisocials dismissed the high voice and opened fire against the detectives, which originated an exchange of shooting.
After the shooting, the criminals were seriously injured and were immediately transferred to the nearest health center, where they died shortly after their income.
The antisocials were identified as Omar Ernesto Ratia Caballero, 28 years old, aka El Ernestico, who had an application for qualified intentional homicide; In addition, he had three records for intentional homicide, death from the head of foreign cattle and illicit traffic of materials, precious stones and strategic materials; and Erick Miguel Pereira Pérez, 25 years old, aka Erick Pantin, who was being requested by the crimes of aggravated theft, mild personal injuries and seven records for illicit possession of narcotics, carry of a gun and generic theft. Likewise, Pereira Pérez was being investigated for a homicide case.
At the scene, officials collected two gun -type firearms, .380 caliber.
The evidences were placed at the order of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
