The Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (Cicpc) apprehended during 2024 to 19,434 people involved in criminal activities, said the director of the Security Agency, Douglas Rico.
During a balance of positive results offered in the program Cicpc a daytransmitted by the Radio of the Ministry for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, he explained that they also recovered 2 thousand 004 firearms, 5 thousand 172 vehicles and 5,576 telephones, as well as seized 12 thousand 783 ammunition.
He stressed that thanks to these results they reduced the mortality rate to 4.1 people killed per 100,000 inhabitants.
“All this was possible to the perfect union of popular power, police and military forces,” he emphasized.
Neutralized criminal
During his statements, Rico recalled the recent police intervention in which he was dejected Wuileisys Alexander Acevedo Monasteriosalias “Wilexis”, who had as the basis of operations the area 4 of the José Félix Ribas neighborhood, Petare, Sucre municipality, Miranda state, where the small merchants, among other crimes, became vaccin, and, in addition, it was linked to the extreme Venezuelan right.
