Fernando Báez Sosa (18) came to spend the summer in the Buenos Aires town of Villa Gesell with friends on January 16, 2020 and two days later he was beaten to death at the door of the “Le Brique” bowling alley. The following is the chronology of the salient events that occurred the morning of the crime:
-January 16: Fernando Báez Sosa (18) traveled to Villa Gesell with seven friends, with whom he stayed at the Hola Ola Hostel, where they had a reservation until January 23.
-January 18: 1.45: Fernando and his friends Lucas Filardi, Julián García, Federico Tavarozzi, Lucas Begide, Juan Bautista Besuzzo and Santiago Corbo enter the “Le Brique” bowling alley.
3.30: The young law student was in the VIP sector of the bowling alley listening to the trapper Neo Pistea.
4.30: An incident occurs between Fernando and part of his group of friends with that of the now accused rugby players, as a result of which they are all thrown out of the bowling alley.
4.32: The security cameras in the area and those of some telephones record the moment in which the security personnel take the young people out of “Le Brique”.
4.37: Lucas and Ciro Pertossi, Máximo Thomsen and Matías Benicelli are seen walking in front of the bowling alley.
4.41: According to the prosecution’s accusation, between 4:41 and 5, on Avenida 3, between Paseo 102 and Avenida Buenos Aires, Máximo Thomsen, Ciro Pertossi, Enzo Comelli, Matías Benicelli, Blas Cinalli, Ayrton Michael Viollaz, Lucas Pertossi and Luciano Pertossi, “agreed to kill Fernando Báez Sosa, for which, previously, they functionally distributed their commissioning roles in advance of him.”
4.45: Benicelli is seen hugging Luciano Pertossi passing by the door of the “Cipriany” restaurant, located a few meters from the scene of the attack.
4.55: Luciano Pertossi is recorded when he is standing on Avenida 3 and Buenos Aires sending an audio with his cell phone: “Friend, I’m here near where the kid is and they are all there screaming, the Police are there, they called the ambulance… .expired”.
4.47: The defendants are identified by the Police, while one of them, Ciro Pertossi, sucks his fingers.
5.00: Witness Andrea Ranno, in charge of the “Inti Huasi” Hostel, located at Alameda 202, between Avenida Buenos Aires and the entrance to the “Carlos Idaho Gesell” Reserve, a few meters from “Le Brique” sees a group of young people go through the “Marina” supermarket and hears one of them say: “I filled his face with blood”.
5.05: An ambulance arrives at the door of “Le Brique” to assist Fernando, who no longer had vital signs.
6.21: Thomsen and Lucas Pertossi go to a fast food joint to eat hamburgers.
10.36: Police personnel and the Villa Gesell Departmental Investigation Delegation (DDI) raid the summer house rented by the group of aggressors and arrest 10 rugby players on charges of Fernando’s crime.
