Christmas season and end of year 2025: keys for entrepreneurs to boost their sales

Christmas season and end of year 2025: keys for entrepreneurs to boost their sales

Christmas and New Year celebrations represent one of the most important business moments for millions of entrepreneurs. In a context where 99.7% of Peruvian companies are micro and small businesses (MYPE), according to ComexPerú, having simple and accessible tools becomes key for entrepreneurs.

Impulsared, a Repsol program, identified effective practices that allow entrepreneurs to improve their reach, connect with new customers and boost their income in high-demand campaigns. This from his experience creating and consolidating 52 companies in the north of Lima. Some recommendations are:

WhatsApp is your main showcase: Post clear photos, display your products in natural light, and organize your catalog so it’s easy to explore. Responding quickly makes a difference on days of high demand.

Make live broadcasts: Instagram, Facebook or TikTok Live allow you to show processes, packaging or new collections. People buy more when they know the story behind the product.

Make payment easy in seconds: Have visible QR codes and links ready to share. Offering multiple payment options avoids losing sales and organizes day-to-day management.

Bet on details that excite: Brief notes, simple packaging or a small gift generate recall and increase the probability of repurchase and recommendation.

Order your offer to make the choice easier: If you have a physical store, decorate by categories. If you sell digitally, separate your products into groups such as “Practical Gifts,” “Inexpensive Gifts,” or “Seasonal Favorites.”

Use real testimonials as proof of trust: Ask your clients for comments or photos and, with their permission, share them on your networks or catalog. Authentic recommendations influence the purchasing decision.

“In each campaign of the year, including Christmas and New Year, we seek to accompany entrepreneurs to find new opportunities for growth. That is why we promote local spaces where they can approach the public and offer quality products,” said Tine van den Wall Bake, Senior Manager of Sustainability and Social Management at Repsol, about the Impulsared program.

Impulsared has allowed people from five districts of Northern Lima to turn their ideas into formal and sustainable businesses, and has benefited more than 10,000 people, with a strong emphasis on female leadership: 70% of participants are women. They all have access to technical training, business training, assistance for formalization, non-refundable seed capital and specialized support during the first twelve months of operation of their businesses.
