A fact of violence tarnished the Christmas celebrations in the northeast of Medellín. An apparent friends meeting ended in one fatal fight inside a home in La Cruz neighborhoodsector of Manrique.

The events occurred in the early morning in a residence located in the 81st street with 24th street. According to the official report, a call to the emergency line 123 alerted the Metropolitan Police about a violent dispute between two men who used sharp weapons.
Upon arriving at the site, the uniformed officers confirmed that both involved had serious injuries arising from the confrontation.
The victim was identified as Wilder Andrés Menaof 23 yearswho was rushed by the community to the Municipal Polyclinic. Unfortunately, the medical staff confirmed that the young man was admitted no vital signs due to the severity of the injuries.
