The real estate sector registered a considerable rebound in recent times, mainly due to the interest of people between 25 and 35 years of age in acquiring homes. The “eco” concept that promotes environmentally friendly designs is the most frequently used when choosing the desired home of one’s own.

Regarding the apartment sector, specifically, Carballar said that the most desirable neighborhoods in Asunción to inhabit are the areas of Molas López, Las Mercedes, Los Laureles and Villa Morra.

HOUSES WITH AN “ECO” CONCEPT

Market trends, especially in commerce and services, point towards organic products. The real estate sector is no stranger to this current, which is migrating, through environmentally friendly architectural designs, to the “eco” sector.

“The pool with barbecue area with grill, gyms at home and in apartments, are among the preferences of customers,” explained the Manager, who also mentioned that the market currently requires a good security system.

When choosing locations, whether for rent or home purchase, there are references such as distances to daily activities such as work and school for children.

“The two-bedroom home is being the most attractive proposal for clients and investors. Young couples or married couples with one or two children are seeking to settle in urban areas, in comfortable spaces,” she explained.

Gustavo Carballar urged young families to approach the sales agents to inquire about options financing, since there are several and they have the necessary flexibility to adjust to the different income levels. “Investing in a property is not only thinking about the future, but also leaving a legacy for your children.
