With the simultaneous switching on of lights that took place this Thursday, December 1, in more than 30 points in the capital district, the Mayor’s Office of Panama has welcomed the Christmas season called “Let’s Dream Panama, Christmas has arrived.”
At 7:00 pm the brightness of the Christmas lighting began amid the happiness of thousands of children who enjoyed themselves as a family.
Mayor José Luis Fábrega highlighted that this year joy is being brought to the communities of the 26 corregimientos, sharing this effort with the entire city.
“We work to coordinate every detail, there will be security and facilities for everyone,” said Fábrega.
On the other hand, Deputy Mayor Judy Meana invited the public to participate in the Christmas parade, on December 11.
The decoration and Christmas lighting stimulate tourism in the spaces that are carried out, generate economic and social activation and motivate the attendance of visitors for the family enjoyment of the public spaces of the city
